The stamp was designed during the visit and simply displays the National Flag of the United Republic of Obscurium and the Flag of the Federated Micronations of Musania.

The stamp was printed in small sheets of 3 x 3 stamps. The State Flag of Obscurium also appears on the 3 top margin fields, while the Flag of Musania decorates the bottom margin fields.

Commemorative Issue "Defense of Human Rights - Gaza War"

Commemorative Issue - Defense of Human Rights - Gaza War

On 2023.10.07, the terrorist organisation "Hamas" crossed the borders of the Gaza strip, Palestine, to attack a number of Israeli settlements. About 1200 people were killed, mostly Israelis (some with double citizenship), but also unrelated foreigners, e.g. 34 Thai agricultural workers or 11 Nepalese students. Among the about 200 people taken as hostages, 24 were also Thai. It is now known that the Israeli government ignored warnings by their own observation forces and did not station sufficient troops in the region, giving priority to the settlements in the West Bank. Hamas extended the battlefield also by launching rockets against cities in Israel, although most of them were destroyed by the Iron Dome defense system.

Immediately after this attack, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) started to bomb the Gaza strip, with a ground invasion started in November. The number of civilians killed in Gaza is currently estimated to be more than 10'000, with a high number of children. Water and food in Gaza have become scarce, with only small number of transports allowed into Gaza by the IDF. Hospitals are being attacked because of claims that Hamas forces are stationed below them. Ministers in the Israeli government are openly thinking about the expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland.

The American-German author Deborah Feldman has formulated the demand for "Absolute unconditional defense of human rights for all", which does not put both sides on the same moral level, but states that any violation of human rights, both by Hamas and Israel, is inacceptable. This is also the position of the State Department of the Federated Micronations (SDFM). According to the "Foregone Conclusion" doctrine, it is obvious that without peaceful coexistence both Israelis and Palestinians will have no future in the region. The Climate Crisis will make the region almost inhabitable, and the proliferation of modern weapon technology will enable both sides to destroy each other and, by this, also themselves. SDFM supports U.N. Resolution 2712, calling for an armistice.

The Federated Micronations distance themselves from any form of Antisemitism or racism. The nations of the F.M., with all their conflicts, have always worked to avoid such discrimination, with the most far reaching example the "Marriage Rules" of Murwillumbah, binding Jewish and Muslim families in an intricate web of exchange. Representatives of both religions have led the F.M., and even Christians have occupied high posts in government after centuries of suppression.

The stamp issued by Capricornia Post is based on processed Wikimedia / Creative Commons photos by Saleh Najm, Anas Sharif and Kobi Gideon, showing both Israeli and Palestinian victims and ruins. A father mourns his dead child. The flags of Israel, Palestine and Thailand (representing all uninvolved foreigners caught in the battle) are displayed on the left of the stamp, the U.N. emblem and the Resolution number 2712 on the right.

Commemorative Joined Issue "Christmas 2023"

Commemorative Joined Issue - Christmas 2023

Thanks to a suggestion by the Postmaster of FNT, Capricornia Post decided to issue Christmas stamps in 2023. The idea was to use children's drawings depicting Christmas scenes. Two such drawings were obtained by the FNT Postmaster, B. Krauth. The issue is a joint issue - the two drawings were used both for two Frya Nordland Territories stamps issued by CPEA and for two stamps issued by Capricornia Post. Of these, one was issued for the Balanda Republic, Capricornia's eastern neighbour within the Federated Micronations, and one for Capricornia itself.

On 2023.12.01, an agreement between Capricornia and Balanda Republic was signed, allowing Capricornia Post to open post offices and providing postal services in the Balanda Republic, using both "Capricornia" stamps and new "Balanda Republic" ones, of which at least one per year is to be issued. These stamps are valid in the whole service area of Capricornia Post, which now comprises the Republic of Capricornia, the Balanda Republic and the Balangrad Capital Territory. In the latter two areas, Capricornia Post competes with Posta tal Musograd, which has similar agreements with other Republics of the Federation.

Both stamps were issued in small sheets of 6 stamps each, with decorated borders. There are no se-tenant combinations.

The issue date of the parallel FNT issue is not yet known.
